Setting
Ghosts Free
Clouds gather dark, high above ground,
In weather like this, shadows are found.
The gusts of wind are ghosts in disguise,
The windows warp and stare with strange eyes,
The light filters through the glass so old,
The house full of ghosts with spirits bold,
With every creak of the wood, I fear for my life,
The windows warp and stare with strange eyes.
Everything creaks and cracks like bones,
My ears hear the sounds of the ghosts that moan,
They only want to be let outside,
The windows warp and stare with strange eyes.
I open the door and stand there afraid,
The darkness might take me, is that my fate?
The ghosts file out, white wisps in the sky,
The windows all break, and they close their eyes.
